On the 20th July, the Lansbury Business Estate team laid on a hog roast for its 80 tenants, customers, friends and local neighbours who gathered on the ‘Grassy Knoll’ for an afternoon of food, drink and live music. Happily, the sun even made an appearance too.

Around 200 staff, tenants and their colleagues joined the summer gathering for an opportunity to meet and catch up over great food provided by Barbeque Chefs and local Hogs Back ale. Volunteers from the numerous charities onsite also joined the fun and reacquainted several past community connections. It was also a rare moment for the wider Lansbury Estates team to gather, including estates staff, former associates and non-exec Directors.

The event was rounded off by the familiar chimes of an ice cream van that appeared at the end of the day to send everyone off with a Mr Whippy in hand.

Local neighbour Clair passed on her thanks after the event: It was great from a community perspective but also I wanted to say from a business perspective. It creates an awareness of some fantastic business you have operating from your site that we were never aware of and I have been able to share that knowledge.

Many thanks to everyone who joined us and the teams that organised a thoroughly enjoyable event. See you next time?
